Three drug peddlers held in Agra; 500 kg marijuana seized

Agra Police along with STF have caught three drug peddlers and seized over 500 kg of marijuana from their possession. The police had an alert that a tanker would pass through Sikandrabad area with marijuana.

Agra (Uttar Pradesh): Three drug peddlers were arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Agra, and over five hundred kilogram of marijuana seized from them, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police along with the STF personnel caught the tanker which was being used to transport marijuana from Sikandrabad area of the city.

The arrested have said that they brought the marijuana from Odisha and were taking it to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh.

Same amount of marijuana was seized last month as well from the area, the police said.

Police have registered a case and are probing the matter further.
