Rampur (Uttar Pradesh): As many as 15 persons sustained critical injuries after the SUV they were travelling in hit a wood laden tractor at Rampur area under Kotwali police limits in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
According to sources, the mishap occurred this afternoon when an SUV carrying the labourers was headed from Bihar to Punjab. Suddenly, a wood laden tractor collided head-on with the vehicle leaving 15 persons critically injured.
The locals immediately rushed the injured to a nearby hospital.
Police reached the spot and informed their family members of the accident.
Some labourers were shifted to Rampur Government Hospital after their health condition deteriorated.
