WATCH: Man thrashes minor for playing in basement

A minor was thrashed by a man inside the premises of Suvarna Apartments in Secunderabad for playing in the basement. The complaint has been filed with the police but the investigation has not been initiated.

Secunderabad: In an incident of child abuse, a minor was thrashed by a man inside the premises of Suvarna Apartments in Keshav Nagar Colony, Secunderabad.

The entire incident which took place on November 08 was caught on CCTV camera which showed the minor boy- Jayath being beaten up by Kranthi Swaroop.

After getting to know about the incident, Jayath's parents lodged a complaint in Alwal Police Station.

"When we were not in the city, a man named Kranthi Swaroop who stays in our apartment thrashed our son when he was playing in the basement. He hit my son brutally and smashed him to the car," told Jayath's father.

Swaroop in the state of inebriation also threatened Jayath's grandmother and warned that he would kill if anyone plays in the cellar.

According to sources, the incident occurred due to long-term rivalry between the two residents.

The police have filed the complaint but the investigation has not been initiated.
