Telangana: Private bus gutted in fire; no casualties reported

A private bus caught fire after smoke started to come out of the engine. It is suspected that a short circuit in the engine might be the reason behind the incident.

Hyderabad: A private bus plying from Narsingi to Kokapet was gutted in fire on Monday. No casualties have been reported yet from the incident.

According to the officials, the bus caught fire after smoke started coming out of the engine.

There were no passengers in the bus at the time of the incident and the driver had got down from it, the officials said.

Later, the fire was doused with the help of fire tender.

The officials suspect a short circuit in the engine as the cause for the fire.
