Hyderabad (Telangana): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao convened a high-level meeting with the top police officials of the state to review the law and order situation in the state.
CS Somesh Kumar, Chief Secretary; Mahender Reddy, DGP; Police Commissioners -- Anjani Kumar (Hyderabad), Sajjanar (Cyberabad), Mahesh Bhagwat (Rachakonda); Jitender, Additional Director General; Stephen Ravindra, IGS; and others were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the chief minister said some people are trying to polarise people for the political gains and spread hatred among different sections on Social media through morphed photos.
"The people of the state have, however, have ignored such things in the past and will continue to do so," he said.
He also said that some people are trying the win votes by distributing money but people of Hyderabad are wise enough to vote for the right candidate.

He further added that the government has information that in Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam people are trying to create chaos.
"Some are trying to give religious colour to the GHMC Elections," he said.
The Chief Minister said the goal of the government is to maintain peace and harmony in the state along with Hyderabad and added that the anti-social elements will not be allowed to disrupt the peace process in the state.
He said the state is peaceful because it has been adopting an uncompromising attitude towards maintaining law and order from the beginning and the actions of the government against the anti-social elements have received a large amount of support from the public.
