Tax inspector and associate held for demanding bribe in Hyd

Anti Corruption Bureau in Hyderabad has arrested a tax inspector and his associate were arrested for demanding a bribe for tax assessment of 12 flats.

Hyderabad: Two people including a tax inspector were arrested by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad on Tuesday for allegedly demanding bribe from a person for tax assessment of his flat.

P. Durga Das, a tax inspector at Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) office at Malkajgiri and his associate were arrested by ACB as they demanded bribe amount of Rs 30000 for the assessment of tax of 12 flats including the flat of the complainant.
