Son abandons COVID recovered mother in Telangana

A 55-year-old woman who was infected by Coronavirus and returned home after recovery was not allowed to enter the home by her son and daughter-in-law. Reportedly, she was left stranded on the road at Filmnagar in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: A woman who had recovered from coronavirus was denied entry into her home, in Film Nagar here, by her own son on Friday.

According to sources, a 55-year-old woman was infected by the coronavirus and was admitted to Gandhi hospital. After recovering from the infection, she was discharged on Friday.

Following which, she happily returned home but unfortunately, her son and daughter-in-law did not allow her to enter.

They reportedly locked the house and left the elderly woman stranded on road.

Locals too feared the spread of the virus but were kind enough to inform the police to provide shelter to the woman, but in vain.

The woman has now requested justice from the concerned officials.
