Man burnt alive in revenge for 'black magic'

Pawan Kumar was locked in a room before it was set on fire by his relatives after they suspected him of involvement in black magic rituals.

Hyderabad (Telangana): A software engineer was burnt alive by his relatives on suspicion of practising black magic in Jagtial district in Telangana.

Pawan Kumar and his wife visited a relative to express condolences after he died a few days back due to health issues.

However, the sister-in-law of the deceased suspected that Pawan Kumar used black magic which caused the death of the man.

The woman subsequently locked Pawan Kumar inside a room and poured petrol outside it and set it on fire.

Kumar was burnt to death before police arrived at the scene. A case was registered and an investigation was initiated in the case.
