Hyderabad: The Narcotics Control Bureau has seized a large quantity of Marijuana from Hyderabad's outskirts today. NCB conducted a raid based on credible information that marijuana worth 2 tonnes is being transported from Seeleru (Andhra Pradesh) to Pune (Maharashtra).

NCB officials set up surveillance and inspected the truck at the toll plaza near the Outer Ring Road of Pedda Amberpet. During the checking, they found more than 1000 packets of marijuana from that truck.

Each packet contained around 2 kgs of Marijuana covered in raw cashew nuts to hide the illegal substances. The NCB has also arrested four accused who are from Usmanabad, Maharashtra.
