Hyderabad: The ordeal of a young man from Hyderabad, who illegally crossed into Pakistan, is finally coming to an end. Prashant, who went to Pakistan in 2017 to meet his online girlfriend, has been extradited to India by Pakistani authorities.
The software engineer entered Pakistan illegally before he was arrested by the authorities.

As soon as the matter came to light, Prashant's father Baburao made several attempts for the release of his son. In 2019, Baburao met with Cyberabad Commissioner of Police V. C. Sajjanar and requested him to help release his son.
The Commissioner of Police also responded positively to his request. He informed the Central Government about the issue. Finally, after several attempts, Prashant was handed over to the Indian authorities at the Wagah border.

Prashant is most likely to arrive in Hyderabad today evening. His family members are happy about his homecoming after spending four years in prison in Pakistan. The family has expressed gratitude to the authorities for securing his release.
