Girl checking charging phone electrocuted in Sangareddy

A minor girl, Kimmati Sravanthi was electrocuted when she was checking her father's phone which was plugged in charging. The girl, who was studying in Class V, died on the spot when she touched the phone. The body was shifted to Area Hospital for postmortem.

Sangareddy: A 9-year-old girl was electrocuted while checking her father’s phone that was plugged in for charging at her residence at Akkaram village of Gajwel Mandal in Telangana.

The victim was identified as Kimmati Sravanthi, who was studying in class V, died on the spot when she touched the phone.

The body was shifted to Area Hospital for postmortem.

Meanwhile, the Transco officials have reached the village to check whether there was any technical problem.

A case was registered. The incident has left entire village in utter shock. The parents were inconsolable.
