Jangaon (Telangana): At least four people were killed in a road accident in Palakurthi constituency of Jalgaon district in Telangana on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Harya, Govindar, Madhu and Durya, residents of Manchala Mandal of Rangareddy district.
Police have reached the spot and rescue operations are underway.
A total of 11 workers were travelling in the lorry which overturned killing four people on the spot and the remaining suffered injuries. The injured people were rushed to the hospital.
Earlier on Wednesday, senior IPS officer and Telangana State Police Recruitment Board Chairman VV Srinivasa Rao sustained minor injuries after his official vehicle overturned on the Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad here.

According to the reports, the IPS officer was way to his home when the accident took place. He has been shifted to a private hospital in Gachibowli where his condition is said to be stable.
Srinivas Rao belongs to 1987 IPS batch and he is Telangana State Police Recruitment Board Chairman and in-charge director of the State Police Academy.
