Hyderabad: Lone BJP Legislator from Telangana, Raja Singh, was on Sunday arrested by the Hyderabad Police, after tension prevailed in the city's Amberpet area.

According to reports, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation had pulled down a structure for road widening in Amberpet a few days earlier, which did not go down well with certain sections.
In a development to the above, clashes broke out earlier today between two groups, which resulted in stone pelting and subsequent lathicharge by the police to disperse the mob.
