Six die after truck rams auto in Telangana

The driver of the truck has been blamed for the accident in Mahabubadad district. State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims.

Hyderabad: Six people were killed as a lorry and an autorickshaw collided head-on at a village in Mahabubabad district of Telangana state on Friday, police said. The six - three men and three women - were in the auto, the police said.

The accident occurred in Marrimitta village, according to police. As per preliminary information, negligence on the part of the lorry driver was believed to be the cause of the accident, police said.
