Four-year-old boy bitten to death by pigs in Hyderabad

A 4-year-old child was mauled by a herd of pigs in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The incident took place when the boy stepped out to play outside his house. He was dragged by the pigs and fatally attacked and bitten near a garbage dump.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old boy was allegedly mauled to death by street pigs while he was playing outdoor here in Singereni area under Saidabad police station limits, police said on Tuesday.

According to police, they received a complaint from V Keshya who informed that when his son V Harshavardhan was playing in front of his residence on Tuesday evening, few street pigs attacked him and bit him, following which, his son died on the spot.

The father told that they rushed the boy to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

A case has been registered and the dead body has been shifted to a government hospital for autopsy.
