Youth commits suicide by jumping under truck in Chennai

A 25-year-old youth has committed suicide by jumping under the back wheel of a container lorry. The CCTV footage of the scene has been leaked. The youth has been identified as Vinod Kumar, from Kalyana Chetty town.

Chennai: A 25-year-old youth has committed suicide by jumping under the back wheel of a container lorry. The CCTV footage of the scene has been leaked.

In the preliminary investigation, the youth has been identified as Vinod Kumar, from Kalyana Chetty town. He had been working as a labour in a private company.

The police while checking the CCTV footage of the accident, were shocked to learn that the youth had crossed the barrier wall and jumped under the rear wheel of the lorry.

The truck was driving on the Tiruvottiyur-Ennore expressway, heading towards Ennore from Chennai port. The local police reached the spot and sent the body to the Govt Stanley Hospital for an autopsy.
