Thanjavur: Residents of Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu woke up late night following a strange encounter when a crocodile raided a cow shed leaving a dozen of villagers struggling to take on the predator!

According to reports, the crocodile entered the shed near a farming sector in Thanjavur.

The villagers have claimed that the predator crossed a water body and entered the shed when the villagers heard the mooing of the cattle.

The crocodile was later caught with the help of a rope and was handed over to the forest department.

மன்னி ஆற்றில் இருந்து சுமார் 6 அடி நீளமுள்ள முதலையானது அய்யன் பெருமாளின் மாட்டு கோட்டைக்குள் புகுந்தது
இதனால் மாடுகள் கத்தவே அங்கு சென்று ஐயன்பெருமாள் அருகிலுள்ள தெரு மக்களின் உதவியுடன் முதலையை பிடித்த கட்டி வைத்துள்ளார்
