Tamil Nadu CM writes to Haryana CM about eviction of Tamil families from the state

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has written to his counterpart in Haryana in connection to the eviction of about 200 Tamil Nadu from Haryana's Panchkula district. The TN CM has requested the Haryana CM to look into the matter.

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has written a letter to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal regarding the eviction of 200 Tamil families in Panchkula district.

Palaniswami wrote to his counterpart seeking help for the Tamil families who were evicted in the state.

The letter stated that the 200 Tamil families are living in Tamil Colony, Sector 21 in Punckula District, Haryana. The families have been residing in the area for more than 40 years and were evicted without provision for alternative lands or accommodation.
