Tiruppur (Tamil Nadu): A farmer has erected a statue for his bull after the animal died of sudden disease two years ago. The farmer Chellamuthu from Pappampalayam village near Vellakoil has erected the statue for the cost of Rs 2 lakhs at his farm where the animal was buried and offered prayers on Monday.
The farmer was raising the bull for many years and he has many memories of the animal but it had died all on a sudden in 2018. Unable to get rid of the memories of his bull, the farmer has decided to install a statue of the bull at his farm where he had buried the animal.
The statue was unveiled on Monday and the ceremony was attended by Chellamuthu's relatives and people from the village. Chellamuthu's family offered fruit, coconut and flowers to the statue of the bull.
