Tiruvannamalai: The Tamil Nadu police have arrested 25 men for allegedly storing and selling illicit liquor in Tiruvannamalai.
The police seized 3,400 litres of illicit liquor from various parts of the district during a massive search operation.
As per District Police Inspector Sibhi Chakravarti, the police have seized 1,000 liters of Illicit liquor barrel in Arani taluk and 1,000 litres barrels in Vettavalam and 1400 litres barrels in Polur Taluk.
The accused have been sent to judicial custody. The matter is being investigated by the police.
