Vellore: A mysterious explosion jolted the residents of a remote village in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu and cracked open the walls and windows of Dr Keerthi Rajan's residence on Tuesday.
According to reports, a loud explosion was heard from the residence of government physician Keerthi Rajan. The explosion also caused severe damages to the windows and doors houses nearby.

Keerthi Rajan and his wife, who were asleep in their room, survived without sustaining any injuries.
The reason for the blast is yet to be ascertained. The neighbours informed the Police and they collected evidence from the house following the exposition.
