Bengaluru: Tamil Nadu State Congress in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao has made it clear that Mahagathbandhan will continue for the Tamil Nadu state assembly elections.
Our alliance with #DMK and other parties in Tamil Nadu is synergetic and had swept the Lok Sabha polls in 2019. We will do so again in the assembly elections next year and @INCIndia will play it’s part to strengthen the alliance. Dinesh Gundu Rao tweeted.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Mahaghatbandhan, the Congress-led by DMK party MK Stalin, won 38 seats. The AIADMK and NDA alliance led by Edappadi Palaniswami won only one seat.
Now, in the wake of the defeat of Mahaghatapadhan in Bihar, the Congress is expected to hold a separate election in Tamil Nadu. But Dinesh Gundu Rao has opened the door for speculation by saying that the success of the Lok Sabha will continue in the assembly elections.
