"Time has come to eradicate corruption in the state. I will not go down to any field without proper preparation. We must set up a government that provides all basic amenities to the people. People need to take politics into their own hands," he added.

Kamal also slammed the political parties which offer money to the voters. He said, "Our only promise is honesty. If you give five thousand rupees to a person who has no food and basic things, he'll accept. We should change it. I, myself cannot eradicate the corruption, I need your (people) cooperation."
