Chennai: Former Tamil Nadu Congress leader Krishnasamy Thulasiah Vandayar passed away at the age of 93 following a cardiac arrest on Monday morning.
He breathed his last at his residence in Chennai.

His last rites will be held at his native place in Thanjavur district.
Extending their tributes to the veteran leader, many politicians expressed their grief and paid condolence to his family members.

Vandayar, who had represented Thanjavur Lok Sabha Constituency from 1991 to 1996, is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
He was also the Chairman of AVVM Pushpam College in Thanjavur district.
