Chennai (Tamil Nadu): DMK leader A Raja in his reply to the Election Commission of India denied the allegations against him and said his comments on Tamil Nadu's chief minister Edappadi Palaniswamy was taken out of context.
The Election Commission had issued a show-cause notice to Raja, a former federal telecom minister, for alleged insults at Palaniswamy during an election rally in the state, which goes to polls on April 6 to choose a new government.
