2 killed, over 30 injured during bull racing event in Tamil Nadu

In a tragic incident, at least two persons were killed and over 30 injured after a roof collapsed during 'Erudhu Vidum Vizha' at Neralagiri village in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district. 'Erudhu Vidum Vizha' is a form of Jallikattu.

Krishnagiri: Two persons, including an 8-year-old girl, were killed after a roof collapsed during 'Erudhu Vidum Vizha', a form of Jallikattu, at Neralagiri village in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district.

According to the reports, the incident took place when people sat on the roof to watch the event on Sunday. Unfortunately, the roof collapsed killing two and injuring over 30.

The injured persons were rushed to a hospital, and police are investigating the case. Police have said that the event was being conducted without permission.

The villagers stopped conducting the event following the incident, the police said.
