Chennai: In a horrific incident, a 15-year-old girl died after she was set on fire allegedly by two local functionaries of the ruling AIADMK in Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu.
The Villupuram police have arrested G. Murugan (50) and K. Kaliyaperumal (60) in connection with the incident.
The deceased identified as Jayashree was a student of 10th class and was studying in a government school.
She was undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Mundiyambakkam where she took her last breath today.
