Alwar (Rajasthan): In a fresh incident of mob justice, two youth were beaten black and blue by villagers for allegedly attempting to abduct a person from Kalapara village under Pratapgarh police limits in Alwar district of Rajasthan last night.
Reportedly, the accused youths were trying to abduct one, Pushparendra Mina of the same village.
According to sources, the matter came to light after some villagers caught two youths. However, three of the companions managed to escape from the spot.

Soon a mob gathered there and thrashed the duo youth mercilessly. The angry villagers rescued Pushparendra and torched the SUV of the accused youth.
On being informed, Pratapgarh police reached the spot and took the accused youth into custody. The police pacified the angry locals as the uncontrolled mob pelted stones at the police.
Police said that the mob would have killed the kidnappers if they had not reached the spot. Police personnel have been deployed on the spot after this late-night incident, sources added.
