Jaipur: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by some villagers when she was on her way to purchase medicine for her ailing father in Rajasthan's Churu.
The incident came to light when the woman filed a complaint with the police on Saturday.
"A case has been registered in the Ratannagar police station against the accused who have been absconding after the crime. The woman lost her husband a few years ago and she has four children to look after. She was on her way to buy medicine when the men abducted her in a car and later gang-raped her brutally," said Hari Kishan, ASI, Women Police Station, Churu.

According to the reports, the woman was held hostage for many hours. Police have registered a case and the probe is underway to nab the accused.
