Hyderabad: After the Congress on Tuesday sacked Sachin Pilot from the posts of Rajasthan's deputy chief minister and the party's state unit chief, Rajasthan BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna talked exclusively with ETV Bharat's Regional Editor Braj Mohun Singh and dismissed the allegation of the Congress that BJP is standing behind Sachin Pilot. He said that BJP has no role in Congress's domestic fight.
The Vidhan Sabha is the right place to prove majority, not resorts and hotels, the Senior BJP leader said.
Khanna also added that there is no need for the Bharatiya Janata Party to demand to prove its majority. Gehlot has created this turmoil and he has to gain confidence in the Vidhan Sabha.
"Misuse of Special Operation Group (SOG) is not in the favour of democracy," he said.
A controversy broke out in Rajasthan after Special Operation Group (SOG) sent a notice to Pilot to record his statement in the case registered by SOG in the alleged poaching of Congress MLAs in the State.
The Rajasthan Congress is in turmoil over the past few days. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has blamed the BJP for attempting to destabilise the state government by poaching MLAs.
