Banswara: An unmarried couple allegedly committed suicide in two different ways here in Chhayan Badi village of Rajasthan on Friday.
The 19-year-old girl consumed pesticide while the 21-year-old man was found hanging from a tree.
Reportedly, the villagers noticed the girl lying in the fields and later on found the man hanging at a distance of 20 feet from the fields.
The family members along with police officer Sajjan Singh arrived at the spot after being informed by locals.
The bodies were taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
Police officer Sajjan Singh said, "It is believed that there was a love affair between the two, but the family members have denied. No traces of injury has been found in the body. Further investigation will be done after the postmortem report."
