Meghwal criticised that Rahul Gandhi resorted to contempt of the House by taking over the role of Speaker. It is the duty of the Speaker to ask everyone to stand in condolence to the farmers who lost their lives in protest, he added.

He also slammed Rahul Gandhi for his 'Hum Do, Hamare Do' rhetoric. He added that the Congress exhibited such behaviour during the UPA Government's rule as Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi used to decide on matters and Priyanka Vadra and Robert Vadra benefitted from it. He also asked what is black in the farm laws and said that nobody points it out.

Regarding skyrocketing fuel price, he said that the price is in accordance with the international market and the State Governments should reduce their VAT. He added that the Central Government is constantly monitoring and would continue to provide relief.

The Congress party has been divided into two camps ever since the party came into power. He further added that Rahul Gandhi staged a tour in the State so that both Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot would come together. Ashok Gehlot has been trying to save his chair for the last two years, he added.
