Banswara: A man who had allegedly killed three persons in Rajasthan's Banswara was shot dead by unknown assailants here on Sunday.
Pannalal Sargara (50), a resident of Indira Colony had been found covered in blood on Sunday night. As per the police, he had been shot in the chest by the assailants.
The accused's body was recovered from Shri Ram Colony in Raj Talab area. A large number of people had already gathered in the area when police arrived at the spot.

He was immediately taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
The entire region including major highways, have been sealed by police following this incident. Several persons have been taken into custody for enquiry. The police have also claimed to have recovered some evidence in this matter.
A case has been registered while search for the assailants is underway.
Sargara was an accused in the 2018 murder case of Indira Colony residents Shabbeer and his sons Syed and Shareef.
Based on a CCTV footage, Panna Lal, brother Nayan and cousins Naresh and Doongar Singh were arrested by police. Panna Lal was on bail in connection with the same matter.
