Bikaner (Rajasthan): Earthquake tremors were felt across Bikaner and other neighbouring villages on Saturday morning. According to reports, the quake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, occurred at 10.26 am this morning.
As the tremors were mild, many people did not even notice the quake. Neither any casualties, nor any damage to property has been reported yet.
Earlier on May 19, a low intensity earthquake of magnitude 3.2 had hit Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district.
As was the case in Bikaner, no loss of life or property was reported.
These quakes come at a time when the national capital has seen around 10 low to medium intensity earthquakes - all below 5 on the Richter scale, in the past one-and-a-half months.
However, with fears arisen due to the string of earthquakes, experts said it was unlikely for the incidents to be a precursor to a much larger quake.
