Three detained near Indo-Pak border under suspicious circumstances

Three people were detained in Hindumalkot of Sriganganagar over suspicion of crossing the International border without a permit. The primary investigation revealed that they were Iranian citizens.

Sriganganagar: The police detained three people in Hindumalkot near Indo-Pak border under suspicious circumstances on Thursday.

Three people including one woman were spotted travelling in the car (DL-9 CU 6021) by the police during a screening of people near the Kotha check post.

The primary investigation revealed that they were Iranian citizens and have crossed international borders without a permit.

The three of them were reportedly taken to the police station for further questioning.

The sources revealed that they were involved in a robbery case. They are being interrogated by the officials of intelligence agencies, the police official said.
