Students forced to study outside classrooms due to EC norms

Students at Government Senior Secondary School in Rajasmand are facing problems as their classrooms are still sealed due to the EVMs kept inside since the general elections. A writ has been filed in the High Court regarding the matter.

Rajasmand: Students of a Government Senior Secondary School are helpless but to study outside their classrooms. It isn't about incomplete infrastructure, nor it is about lousy teachers. But it is due to Election Commission using their school premises to keep EVMs.

Classrooms of class 9th were sealed during voting but haven't been opened since then. Classes can not be opened without EC's permission.

The sealed area is a sensitive zone and no one can tamper without their permission.

Students are left with no option but to study outside their classrooms. District collector Arvind Kumar Poswal said that a writ has been filed in the High Court and they are waiting for their response on it. Till then they can do nothing against the law to open the sealed classrooms.
