Rajasthan police on toe to ensure implementation of lockdown: DGP

Taking stock of the situation in the state, Rajasthan's Director-General of Police (DGP) Bhupendra Singh said that the curfew arrangement in Navalgarh is up to the mark and the Police along with the administration are doing a great job in implementing the lockdown in the state.

Jhunjhunu: Rajasthan's Director-General of Police (DGP) Bhupendra singh visited curfew imposed area of Nawalgarh in Jhunjhunu. He with his team met the policemen on duty and appreciated to motivate them towards their duty.

Singh also visited municipal Ramdevra Municipal Corporation, borders of Jhunjhunu and inspected the arrangements.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Singh said, "Curfew arrangement in Navalgarh is up to the mark. The Police along with the administration are doing a great job in implementing the lockdown in the state."

He also appealed the common people to cooperate with the police and administration to fight with corona.

"We all need to cooperate each other at this point of time. I appeal to people to strictly follow the guidelines given by the medical staffs and the police. The police are fully meeting the expectations of the people and the public is fully satisfied with the highly sensitive functioning of the police," said Singh.

It is to be noted that the number of coronavirus cases in Rajasthan stood at 804 and the death toll at 11 so far, according to the official data.
