SDRF jawan attacked in Jodhpur

The incident took place after the SDRF soldier in the Sadar Bazar police station area asked an elderly person-sitting outside in the street-to go inside the house in Jodhpur. Police immediately reached the spot, registered a case and arrested two people.

Jodhpur: One jawan from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was attacked after he asked an elderly person to return to his house, while patrolling on Tuesday morning, in Jodhpur.

According to the information, Ramkesh, an SDRF soldier in the Sadar Bazar police station area, while patrolling asked an elderly person-sitting outside in the street-to go inside the house.

Seconds later, the miscreants attacked him with stones from the roof of the nearby house.

After receiving the information of the incident, police reached the spot, registered a case and arrested two people.

DCP Dharmendra Yadav said that indecent behavior with policemen will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the offenders.

SDRF jawan who sustained serious injuries was immediately admitted to a government hospital.
