Kota (Rajasthan): Nandini Gupta had come to Kota in Rajasthan for the first time after winning the Miss India World crown. The people of Kota accorded her a warm welcome upon her arrival in her home state. She first reached the Ganesh temple at Circuit House where she offered prayers and sought the Lord's blessings.
Later, a procession was taken out from Nayapura Square to her residence near Rampura Purani Sabzi Mandi. She was made to stand in an open-top vehicle. On the way, people were busy taking selfies with her. Nandini Gupta, along with her father Sumit Gupta, mother Rekha Gupta and younger sister Ananya, reached the Trust's School on Mala Road where her teachers greeted her. Similarly, she graced many events, which were organised to felicitate her.
She interacted with students at the coaching institute in the auditorium located at Jawahar Nagar. Speaking to the media, Nandini Gupta said that she is feeling very proud as I am overwhelmed by the love and respect of people in Kota. People are waiting for me even in the scorching sun. When she was asked if she would foray into Bollywood, she said, "If I get a chance I will enter films."
When asked if has she become an inspiration to many girls, she said that whoever wants to learn from me, can learn. "I also want to learn from everyone." Nandini Gupta advised the students of Kota "always get up when they fall because they will rise only after falling."
