Jaipur: Ensuring that no MLA becomes a target of horse-trading ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls, the Congress has shifted 67 of its 68 Gujarat MLAs to Rajasthan.
They are staying in Shiv Vilas Hotel of Jaipur along with two party observer - B K Hariprasad and Rajni Patil. The party observers are meeting and discussing Rajya Sabha polls strategy with them, the party sources said.
Four of the 11 Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat will go to polls on March 26, and the Congress is taking all precautions to keep its MLAs together after five of them resigning from the state assembly in run up to the Rajya Sabha elections.
