Jodhpur: After staying in the isolation ward for 14 days, a 25-year-old coronavirus survivor and his family members, were welcomed in a grand manner by their neighbours, after they reached their home in Rajasthan's Jodhpur city on Monday.
Himanshu and two of his family members (uncle and aunt) recovered after days of life-and-death battle against the deadly coronavirus since their admission to MDM Hospital on March 22.
According to reports, the family had returned from Turkey on March 18 and Himanshu was admitted to the isolation ward of the hospital after his report came positive, following coronavirus symptoms since his return to the town.
Subsequently, Himanshu's family members were also kept in quarantine and reports of two of them turned out to be coronavirus positive.
According the police, Himanshu and his uncle and aunt were admitted to the hospital for treatment while other family members were kept in quarantine at Rajasthan Ayurved University in Karwar.
"If any minor symptoms of coronavirus are seen, consult a doctor immediately. The patients are taken good care as the staff is providing best treatment facilities available. The quarantine centres are also managed well," said Neelam, a COVID-19 survivor from the family.
Thanking the frontline-staff of the hospital, she said , "We all should cooperate with the medical staff in order to get rid of the disease. It is because of the doctors that we are back in good health."
