Bhilwara: A Dalit youth, accused of alleged cattle lifting, was tied to a tree and brutally thrashed in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district on Saturday. The incident took place in Mohanpura village under Mandalgarh police station limits. The villagers tied the youth to a tree and thrashed him with sticks on the charge of stealing a goat.
According to reports, the villagers caught the youth 10 days back. The video shows that two men are mercilessly thrashing the youth who repeatedly refutes the allegations. Police have launched a probe after the video of the incident went viral on social media.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Singh informed that the victim and accused belong to the same village. The accused have been identified as Babulal Teli and Bardichand Barheth.
