Rajasthan: Two girls stabbed to death by stalker

Two girls were stabbed to death while another was critically injured after a youth attacked them with a knife at Taloda in Rajasthan's Bundi district over an alleged love affair. A manhunt has been launched by police to nab the accused person.

Rajasthan: Two girls stabbed to death by stalker, one critically injured over love affairs

Bundi (Rajasthan): Two girls were stabbed to death while another was critically injured after a youth attacked them with a knife at Taloda area in Rajasthan's Bundi district over an alleged love affair on Saturday.

The accused has been identified as Pappu Teli of the same district. The deceased has been identified as Pooja Goswami (24), a resident of Shivaji Nagar who was studying in Bundi government P.G. college.

According to sources, Pappu had a love relationship with a girl of Shivaji Nagar area. On Sunday morning, he met the girl near Shivaji Nagar Square and had an altercation with the girl.

In a fit-off rage, Pappu stabbed the girl with a knife at that place. Rescuing herself, the girl left the place and reached home.

Pappu also reached her home and there he had an altercation with the girl's sisters. The accused person stabbed the other two girls and escaped from there injuring all three. Two sisters died on the spot due to the fatal wounds.

On hearing the shouts, the nearby people reached there and found the three young women lying in a pool of blood. Locals Immediately rushed the injured girl to a nearby hospital. Later, she was shifted to New Medical College hospital in Kota as her health condition deteriorated.

On being informed by the locals, Taloda police personnel along with SP Shivraj Mina reached the spot. Police have seized the knife which was used by the accused to commit the crime, sources added.

After a preliminary investigation, police said that the murder might be a fallout of love affairs. However, police have registered one death case but reports suggest that two sisters have succumbed to their injuries. A manhunt has been launched by police to nab the accused. Meanwhile, police have sent the bodies of girls for autopsy and the scientific team along with dog squad investigated the crime scene.
