Jaipur: Rajasthan Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas on Wednesday reported at the Enforcement Directorate's Jaipur office after his father received a notice from the central agency. He was grilled for around 7 hours in the ED office.
However, no details of the case in which the notice has been issued were immediately available. The Rajasthan transport minister reached the ED office in Jaipur at 4 in the evening and left around 11 pm in the night.
Speaking to media, Khachariyawas said: "I was not questioned in connection with buying and selling of land at border areas. These rumours are baseless. They inquired about my income and expenditure including my balance sheet."
Earlier, Khachariyawas said that his father received the ED notice and therefore he is going to the ED office here.
He also accused the BJP government of misusing the agencies.
Earlier, they were summoned to the Delhi office and when the duo failed to reach the capital, they were issued another notice on Tuesday calling them to the ED office in Jaipur.
Khachariyawas had previously said that the ED is grilling every member of his family, even the older ones who are above 80 years of age.
