Banswara (Rajasthan): At least 3 people died and 6 others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The incident took place near Kunda village on Ratlam road on Saturday night. Both the vehicles were overspeeding when the accident occurred.
Two people died on the spot while the other one died on the way to the hospital. The injured persons are being treated in the hospital. On receiving the information, the relatives of the deceased rushed to the hospital.
The accident took place when they were returning home after selling vegetables at Arthuna Haat in the pickup van and was hit by another pickup van coming from the opposite direction.
The deceased persons were identified as Usha (30) and Ranja while the injured have been identified as Leela (35), Chanda (40), Kanku (30), and Shankar Lal. The injured were admitted in the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
