Jaipur: The Station House Officer (SHO) of Rajgarh Police Station in Churu district allegedly committed suicide on Saturday, a senior officer said.
Vishnu Dutt was found hanging inside his quarter, he said.
A suicide note was also recovered from the spot.
According to the information, before committing suicide Vishnu Dutt had talked about voluntary retirement and political harassment on social media.
The people of the district have demanded a judicial inquiry in the case.
Senior officers including Churu Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam have reached the spot and the matter is being probed.
