Jaipur (Rajasthan): Four people, including three women, were killed, when a luxury car they were travelling in dashed against a divider on the Ring Road here on Tuesday, police said. The driver of the car lost balance over the vehicle. The car hit the divider and overturned. The severity of the accident was so powerful that all four occupants of the car died on the spot.
Two others, who were critically injured, have been shifted to a hospital for treatment. Police said the bodies have been kept at a mortuary. The post-mortem will be conducted after the arrival of their relatives, police added. Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital. Sources said that a total of six occupants were travelling inside an Audi car, which was coming from Ajmer.
The car was coming from the Tonk road while negotiating a curve it hit the divider of the road and overturned. The accident was so severe that the four occupants died on the spot. The frontal portion of the vehicle was damaged beyond recognition. The horrific accident took place in Shivdaspura police station area. The car was coming from Ajmer and proceeding towards Jaipur, said the SHO.
Police said that the driver of the ill-fated vehicle has been identified as Rajesh Singh (28), a resident of Jaipur's Jhotwara. "We are trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased. The bodies have been kept in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination," the SHO of Shivdaspura police station, Omprakash said.
Whereas, in a separate road accident which occurred in Bhilwara district of the state, a couple and their 10-year-old son died after their motorcycle was hit by a roadways bus on Tuesday.

Shahpura SHO Rajkumar Nayak said that the deceased have been identified as Fakrudin (45), his wife Sameem (40) and their son Ali. The accident occurred near Badesara factory. The roadways bus, which was going towards Udaipur, hit the motorcycle, he said.
The bodies were handed over to the relatives after conducting post-mortem. A case has been registered against the erring bus driver, he said. In Bikaner district, two bike-borne men -- Kaluram and Isarram -- were killed after being hit by a truck in the Pugal police station area, SHO Vikas Bishnoi said. (With inputs from the agency)
