Jodhpur: Violating social distancing norms, police personnel of Dev Nagar police station in Rajasthan were seen celebrating the birthday of a fellow police constable inside the police station on Monday.
The video of the incident went viral on social media, where the policemen were seen dancing with the folk artists without wearing masks on the birthday party of constable Suresh. The station comes under Jodhpur Police Commissionerate.
Keeping in mind the rising coronavirus positive cases, Rajasthan government has geared-up efforts to contain the spread of the deadly virus by conducting corona public awareness campaign which motivates people to follow social distancing norms as well as regular use of masks and sanitiser.
On the contrary, the state police have failed to follow the COVID-19 norms and reflected laxity in administration by violating the guidelines.
