Jaipur (Rajasthan): In a horrific road accident, a man was killed after a speeding trailer overturned and landed on his car in Rajasthan's Jaipur on Wednesday.
According to reports, the incident took place on the Ajmer highway, when a trailer moving at high speed lost control and overturned on a car.
While Ashutosh Bedi, who was in the car died on the spot, another man Suresh, who was accompanying him, received serious injuries.
Upon receiving information about the accident, the Shyamnagar Police rushed to the spot. They pulled Suresh out of the car and sent him to the SMS hospital. His condition is said to be serious.
Meanwhile, a crane was called in to remove the trailer on top of the car, following which a gas cutter was used to cut through the car and pull out the deceased's body.
According to Traffic incharge Son Chand Verma, the deceased Ashutosh Bedi, who was involved in the property business, had come to Jaipur from Jodhpur for some work with his partners.

The incident occurred while they were returning towards Ajmer. Bedi's partners, who were travelling in another car, had a close escape as they were not far away from his car.
Meanwhile, the police said that the trailer driver had been absconding since the accident, and efforts are currently on to trace him.
