Jaisalmer: Indian military intelligence on Saturday arrested a man on charges of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. He was detained near the military station gate at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. According to sources, the man was identified as Bay Khan, a resident of Basnipur village. He was a frequent visitor to the military facility and ran a canteen in the area.
According to sources, police found numbers of many countries including Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom on his mobile phone. Investigators believe he may have been led into a honey trap set up by the ISI.
Various intelligence agencies and the military intelligence are interrogating the suspect. An official statement on the matter is yet to come. Recently authorities in Rajasthan arrested another man near Chandhan firing range on suspicion of spying for Pakistan.
